On December 11th 1965 QUEEN ELIZABETH left the Tail of the Bank where she had been anchored for 6 days to enter the Firth of Clyde drydock for her 3 month refit.
Originally to have gone in on the 9th she had been delayed because of a large rock jammed in the dry dock gate.
I got her at the Garvel Bend. This is my original black and white shot coloured for me by Nicolas Nogueira.
