Cardigan Shipping Company's Cardiff Class bulk carrier NORSE PILOT nearing completion at Govan in September 1971.. She had been launched on 26th March.
Sold on in 1984 she had several name changes till finally as STAR OF DUBAI she was broken up on Gadani Beach in December 1996.
The fitting out basin at Govan is now a covered building hall known as the Janet Harvey Hall after a wartime electrician employed at the yard.
